Julious W. Barrett Sr., age 92, of Calera, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on July 3 at Calera Baptist Church with Dr. Hal Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on July 3 at the church. Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana is directing.

Mr. Barrett is preceded in death by his wife, Lucile Barrett; son, Andy Barrett; and grandson, Drew Barrett. He is survived by his children, Sandra Newsom (Joe), Julious W. Barrett (Sandra); grandchildren, Steven, Eric and Preston Newsom, David Barrett and Deanna White; brothers, Lamar Barrett (Annette), Milton Barrett and John Dee Barrett (Jean); sister, Betty Payne; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
