W. Faye Houston, age 90, of Pelham, passed away on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Houston; son, Rod Houston; and sister, Lamerle Lee.

Faye’s survivors include her daughter, Sherry Turner (Roger); sister, Myra Jo Gingo; daughter-in-law, Georga Houston; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Aug. 9 at Charter Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Ryan’s Crossing Cemetery in Montevallo. Arrangements are under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
