Geraldine “Gerry” Lovelady

Geraldine “Gerry” Lovelady, age 83, of Montevallo, known as “Gigie” to all her family, went to be with her Lord on Aug. 12, 2013. She was a member of Ryan Baptist Church and an employee of Smitherman’s Pharmacy in Montevallo for over 40 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. Pate; brothers, James Yessick and Gary Yessick; grandchildren, Kristie Pate, Doug Pate (Kerri) and Heather Thrash (Brian); great-grandchildren, John William, Savannah, Jake, Sawyer, Ella and Emma.

Visitation will be Aug. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. Graveside services will be held on Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. at Montevallo City Cemetery. Dr. Reese Sherman will be officiating.
