Kyle L. Gothard, age 77, passed away on Aug. 12, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Aug. 15 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana with Rev. Mike Miller and Rev. Mac Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the church. Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana is directing.

Mrs. Gothard was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Columbiana and she worked at the Elastic Corporation for 20 years. Mrs. Gothard is preceded in death by her parents, Pollye and Tony Lyon; sister, Bertie Lou Ellison; and daughter, Leslie Ruth Brechin. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Gothard; children, Tony Gothard (Denise), Donna Smelcer (Bobby) and Samantha Carden (Paul); 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Laney Meadows (Randy); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
