William Lloyd Smith, age 83, passed away on Aug. 12, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Aug. 15 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. John Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the funeral home. Mr. Smith worked 25 years at the Shelby County Board of Education and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lena Smith; and brother, Neal Smith (Bobbie). He is survived by his wife, Janice A. Smith; daughter, Wanda Collum (Frank); step-daughters, Debbie W. Cocoris (John) and Teresa W. Farmer (Johnny); sisters, Ruth Harrington (Oran) and Ruby Holcombe (Jimmy); grandchildren, Cassie Gower, Kelsey Farmer, Kody Farmer and Michael Cocoris; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
