Hazel Marie Peeples, age 53, of Jemison, passed away on Aug. 23, 2013. She passed away peacefully after her year battle to breast cancer with family and friends at her side. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Rocky Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, is directing. The family will receive friends from noon-12:45 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Katie Lou Carter; and brother, William Riker.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Peeples; sister, Helen Frye; brothers, Mark Kelley, Matthew Kelley and Harvey Kelley; stepchildren, Wendy Peeples Poe, J.C. Peeples and other family and friends.
