Ruby Calvert Isbell, age 86, of Vandiver, passed away Sept. 4, 2013. Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. “Cotton” Isbell; daughter, Diane Oakes; and great-grandson, Joshua Isbell.

She was a member of Vandiver Church of God.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Partridge (Buddy), Sharon Sweezey, Anita Overton, Brenda Howard (Calvin) and Fay Johns (Roland); 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
