Roy A. Stevens, age 93, of Alabaster, passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana with Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Harpersville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his son, Gary Stevens (Jan); grandchildren, Jeff Stevens (Lisa) and Jennifer Conway (Adam); great-grandchildren, Sam and Miller Stevens; brother, Vernon Stevens; and sister, Louise Hammonds. He is predeceased by his parents, Ross and Mollie Stevens; brother, Gene Stevens; and sisters, Odessa Godbehere, Florene Greene, Sue Cochran and Maxine Stevens.
