While Tamika and Jonathan Dunning have a successful Italian restaurant, La Dolce Vita, on U.S. 31 in Hoover, the two had always dreamed of building a restaurant from the ground up, limited only by their own imaginations.
They were able to make that dream come true in the form of Villaggio, an Italian place in the Ross Bridge neighborhood that perfectly fits their vision.
“My husband and I have both traveled, and we love the ambience of food,” Tamika Dunning said. “We wanted to bring that to the Hoover area, and particularly the Ross Bridge area, with its Old World feel. This is where we wanted to be.”
