The Calera Eagles volleyball squad notched another win Sept. 30, this time taking down the Minor Tigers in five sets.

The Eagles opened up the match by dropping the first set, 15-25. The squad responded by taking the next two sets, 25-18 and 25-22. The fourth set went to Minor, as the Tigers took a 25-23 win over the Eagles. With the match on the line, Calera stepped up and grabbed the final set 18-16, and the match 3-2.

Akia Harris had 18 killls, three aces, six blocks and 15 digs, Aubrie Smith had six kills, an ace and 16 digs, Keyanna Gayden recorded five kills and three aces, Hannah Marling added 11 digs and Faith Graham had 30 assists and two aces for the Eagles.
