Darrell Glen “D.J.” Morris Jr., age 27, of Montevallo, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. He was employed by Brasfield & Gorrie for eight years and made his living as a robotics field engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Megan Killingsworth Morris; puppy dogs, Mushi and Maci; parents, Darrell and Donna Morris; and one sister, Rene Lucas (Jerrod), all of Montevallo; grandparents, Faye Whatley Gaines, of Montevallo, and Buddy and Nancy Morris, of Stevenson; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Gaines Sr.

The celebration of his life was held at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. Visitation was Oct. 9 from 6-8 p.m. Services were Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. Burial at Montevallo Cemetery.
