Nancy McGhee Bishop “Mama Nan,” age 65, of Pelham, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013. Nancy was devoted to her church, her children and her beautiful granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Murdeth McGhee; brothers, Billy and Jim McGhee; sister, Barbara M. Earnhardt; and brothers-in-law, James A. Earnhardt and Coley Baker.

Survivors are her husband, Douglas Bishop; daughter, Christina Chappell (Joseph Zalewski) of Woodstock; sons, Clifford Chappell and Kenneth Chappell Jr. both of Pelham; one granddaughter, Kenley Eason Zalewski of Woodstock; sister, Mary Ellen Baker of Katy, Texas; brother, Mike McGhee (Angela) of Santa Fe, Texas; brothers-in-law, Richard (Linda), Robert (Leslie) and Lee Bishop (Lisa); her former husband and the father of her children, Kenneth Chappell Sr. of Greensboro, Ga.,; and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
