John Max Moore, age 77, of Montevallo, passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013.

Max was predeceased by his parents, William and Josie Gamble Moore; grandson, Darroch Reynolds; brothers, Claude, Melvin, Ernest, Harold and Joe Moore; and sisters, Pauline Griffin and Ann Hayes.

His survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Darlene Moore; daughter, Crystal Reynolds (Steve); sons, Marty and Melvin Moore; step-daughters, Lisa Dahlberg and Debby Davis; step-son, Terry Dahlberg; brother, Sterling Moore (Jo); sister, Catherine Smith; grandchildren, Joshua Reynolds and Sierra Moore; step-grandchildren, James Tisdale and Timothy Graham; and great-granddaughter, Cora Ann Graham.
