Charlie Faye Brasher passed away Nov. 4, 2013, at the age of 80. She was a lifetime resident of Sterrett. Charlie was an avid Alabama fan and loved her trips to the beach. You could always find a wonderful home-cooked meal at her home and she always had a place at her table for all. She loved her family and friends and loved the big family gatherings. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Diane Andrews (Edker), Glenda Walker (Bill), Lynn Brasher (Kim), Lane Parker (Doodle), Bonnie Fields (J.D.), Connie Fields and Tim “Bull” Brasher; one sister, Geraldine Brazier; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. from the Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church with interment in Lawleys Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Nov. 6 beginning at 5 p.m. at the church. Condolences may be offered online at Kilgroefh.com.
