DeWitt Hill Jr., age 87, of Chelsea, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Nov. 6 at Liberty Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Cox, Rev. Alan Kuykendall and Rev. Wayne Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Cemetery. The family received friends on Nov. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr. Hill served in the Army during World War II. He was a supply business salesman in the HVAC industry for 43 years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He served many years as a Sunday school teacher and a deacon.

Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hill. He is survived by his children, Becky Wallace (Andy) and Mike Hill (Cathy); grandchildren, Jennifer Fineburg (Ben), Michael Hill (Brandi), Jared Wallace and Justin Wallace; great-grandchildren, Micah Fineburg, Simon Fineburg and Baylee Hill; sister, Mary Hodges; and a host of other family and friends.
