FROM STAFF REPORTS
INDIAN SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Indian Springs Village Children’s Fund, which supplies holiday gifts and clothing for less fortunate children in Oak Mountain schools, is now accepting donations through Dec. 18.
Since the early ’90s, Oak Mountain school counselors have provided the Children’s Fund with the names of children in need. Over the years, residents have provided gifts and clothing for hundreds of children throughout north Shelby County.
Because gifts must be purchased before the holiday break – approximately Dec. 18 — donations are needed as soon as possible.
To make a donation, make checks payable to the ISV Children’s Fund and mail to Indian Springs Village Town Hall, 2635 Cahaba Valley Road, Indian Springs Village, AL 35214. A receipt will be mailed to each donor for tax purposes.
