PELHAM – The CSX railroad company has cancelled plans to close two railroad crossings in Pelham on Sunday, according to a statement from the city of Pelham.

The statement said CSX contacted the city today and said it had run into some delays that pushed its schedule back. The repairs will take place some time after Thanksgiving.

CSX had planned to close a single-track crossing near the intersection of Shelby County 52 and Lee Street and another crossing on Stonehaven Trail, according to previous reports.
