Santa Claus will take a break from his preparations at the North Pole on Christmas Eve this year to take a ride around Alabaster on one of the city’s fire trucks.

From 1-8:30 p.m., the Alabaster Fire Department will escort Santa through every neighborhood in the city. During the tour, Santa will stop at the yellow and red “Santa Stop” signs placed throughout the city prior to Christmas Eve.

Because the Fire Department could temporarily delay the tour to respond to emergencies, the department is asking families to look for Santa 30 minutes before or after his scheduled stops.

On Christmas Eve, the Fire Department will post live updates on Santa’s location on AlabasterFire.org.
