Troy F. Stroud, age 72, of Wilsonville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013. A memorial visitation will be Dec. 14 from 2-4 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. Mr. Stroud graduated with a civil engineering degree from the University of Tennessee. He began his career with the Knoxville Utilities Board and later retired as President of Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed his family, woodworking and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan.

Mr. Stroud is survived by his wife, Rosemary Burdine Stroud; sons, Matthew Stroud (Monica), Michael Presley (Katherine); brother, Douglas Stroud (Juanita); sister, Christine Payne; grandchildren, Piper and Parker Stroud and Lauren and Scott Presley; and a host of other family and friends.
