Meet Grace and Matilda.

All December long Shelby Humane Society has $25 adoption fees on all adoptable pets to help place more of our community’s homeless pets into loving homes. Meet two of the many special pets needing your help.

Grace is a gorgeous, fawn-colored Pit Bull Terrier mix. This sweetheart loves to snuggle—all 45 pounds of her. She is about 3-years-old, gets along well with her male kennel mate, and would love to show off how smart she is. Grace won over the hearts of the staff and volunteers long ago; now she is seeking the chance to win you over. One look into those deep brown eyes, one nuzzle with her velvet nose, and one butt wiggle ought to do the trick.

Matilda is ready to waltz right into your home and your heart. She is a 3-year-old, medium-haired cat. Her coloring is considered a muted-tortoiseshell; we just tell her how stunning she is. Despite all the compliments, she maintains her humble personality. She purrs, makes biscuits and loves to quietly talk to you.
