Heath Wade Wood

Heath Wade Wood, age 41, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Jan. 2, at Living Waters Ministries. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with burial in Union Cemetery.

Growing up, Heath was active in Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He became a lobbyist for Congress for several years. Health’s love of history led him to become an avid collector of historical artifacts and Mercedes Benz cars, which he loved to drive. He also appreciated our veterans and always thanked them for their service. We will always remember.

Heath is survived by his parents, Patsy and Jerry Wood; brother, Dewayne Wood (Patricia); grandmother, Louise Maske; niece, Delana Wood; and a host of friends and relatives.
