Genea LaShawn Talmadge, age 22, of Chelsea, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Jan. 10, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McCary officiating. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. on Jan. 10, at the funeral home.

Genea is survived by her fiancé, David Lynn Morton Jr.; parents, Shawn and Geneva Talmadge and Jeffery Braden; brother, Kenneth Andress; sisters, Hannah Talmadge and Faith Talmadge; best friend, Jessica Avila; grandparents, Sue Jeffcoat and Robert and Shirley Talmadge; and a host of other family and friends.
