Holland named to College All Star Bowl

Former Pelham Panthers and Auburn Tigers standout Jake Holland has been named to the 2014 College All Star Bowl.
The bowl, which will take place in Greenville, S.C. on Feb. 14, and allows senior players the opportunity to showcase their talents for professional scouts one last time before the upcoming NFL and CFL drafts, as well as play in front of a nation television audience. In addition to playing in the game, athletes will also serve in the community with programs such as Meals on Wheels.
The game is one of four all star contests for seniors, and will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
Holland’s final game with the Tigers was appearance in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 7, and finished his career at Auburn with 174 total tackles, two interceptions and 9.5 tackles for loss.
