Pelham Mayor Gary Waters and City Council members will meet with the city’s business owners each quarter of 2014, the city announced recently.

The city will hold four Pelham Business Council meetings this year to give Pelham business owners a chance to voice their concerns and suggestions to city leaders.

All meetings will be held at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. All Pelham business owners are invited to attend the meetings, and lunch will be provided.

Past meetings have covered topics such as the city’s sales tax increase to support schools, changes to the Pelham sign ordinance and zoning issues.

“Our goal is to work together to make Pelham a business-friendly city,” read a city press release.

The Business Council will meet the following days this year:

-First quarter: Tuesday, Jan. 21

-Second quarter: Tuesday, April 22

-Third quarter: Tuesday, July 22

-Fourth quarter: Tuesday, Oct. 21
