Denora “Mary” Harris, age 91, of Montevallo (Pea Ridge), went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her home. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James Robert Harris.

Her surviving relatives include daughter, Loretta Greenhill; son, Tommy Lee Harris (Sharon); brother, Vester Lee Lawrence; five grandchildren, Larry Greenhill, Dana Glasscox (Ellie), Lee Greenhill, Kimberly Short (Brock) and Aaron Harris (Shannon); four great-grandchildren, Brandon Greenhill (Jacklyn), Amber Greenhill (Tony), Brimlee Short and Kailynn Harris; one great-great grandchild, Ayden Cole Perry; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral services will be held on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo, with a viewing one hour prior to her service. Rev. Tommy Harris and Rev. Charles Nicholson will officiate her service. Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
