Angela Mitchell “Angie” Echols, age 40, of Shelby, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Feb. 2 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Wayne Spraker officiating with burial to follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Feb. 1, at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

She was a member of Columbiana Church of the Nazarene. Angie was a true servant of the Lord.  She inspired many people to give their heart to the Lord. She had one of the best singing voices that inspired and blessed many people. She was the NYI President and all our teens loved her and Jason very dearly.  She was her father and mother’s angel from heaven and we were blessed to have her for forty years.

Mrs. Echols is survived by her husband, Jason Echols; son, Tyler Echols; parents, Tommy Wayne and Marti Mitchell; sister, Kelly Faye Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
