Elwood Wyatt Jones, age 81, of Alabaster passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Alabaster.

He is survived by a sister, Billie Jane Manche of Mobile; a niece and nephew, Judy Wagner and Jack Manche, both of Mobile; long-time companion, Sharron Gaut; seven great nieces and nephews; thirteen great-great nieces and nephews; and his dog, Trouble. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a retiree of ABC Rail.

Visitation for Mr. Jones was on Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. – noon, followed by a graveside service at 12:45 p.m. at Nabors Cemetery in Saginaw. Services were officiated by Bro. Tom Hammett.
