Bitz-Candelaria

Mr. and Mrs. Mauricio Martinez of Montevallo announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Marisa Bitz, to Adrian Beau Candelaria, son of Tina Stinson Norum of Castle Rock, Washington.

The future bride graduated cum laude from Samford University in May 2013 with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.  She is employed as a statewide coordinator at Magic Moments in Birmingham.

The future groom will receive an associate of applied science in drafting  and design from ITT Technical Institute in June 2014. He is employed as Drafting Director at Norflex, Inc. in Bessemer.

Their wedding will take place on Sept. 20, 2014, at the Hargis Wedding Chapel. The couple will live in Pelham.
