FROM STAFF REPORTS

Meet Hammy and Lonestar.

Hammy (contributed)

Hammy (contributed)

Hammy is a 4-year-old, 46-pound terrier mix. She is a lively soul with a unique light gold brindle pattern and warm brown eyes. Hammy loves to have your attention, and with her smarts, she would excel at tricks training. She is certainly looking for a family with an active lifestyle—hiking, dog parks, trips to the lake, games of fetch, running, etc. At the end of the day, sweet Hammy is ready to nuzzle up and relax beside the people that love her while dreaming about all her new fun adventures.

Lonestar (contributed)

Lonestar (contributed)

Lonestar is a 7-month-old, 34-pound terrier mix. This handsome boy is small, but his spirit is mighty. He makes friends with everyone he meets. He loves toys and will proudly march around with his current favorite before settling in to chew on it. He still has that puppy energy, and once he has had a chance to romp and play, he is eager to snuggle up. Lonestar is also a quick-learner and would fly through basic obedience training. He is going to grow up to be an amazing companion to the family that will give him what he needs most—love.
