Evander M. (Bud) Lucas Jr. of Montevallo passed away on March 10, 2014, at the age of 72. He was retired from ABC Rail in Calera.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evander M. Lucas Sr.; and three brothers: Leroy Lucas, James Howard Lucas (Jamie) and Earl E. Lucas (Sonny).

He is survived by his brother Glenn Lucas (Lois); and three sisters: Estelle Blackmon, Dorothy Stephens and Faye Cecil (Farrell), all of Montevallo.

There will be visitation for Bud on March 13 from 1–2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel and his funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Montevallo City Cemetery.
