Arthur Rhodes Jr. of Calera passed away at his residence on March 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Lee Rhodes; his mother, Luvella Scott Rhodes; his father, Arthur Rhodes Sr.; and his sister, Ruby Rhodes Hamm.

He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Rhodes Jackson (Rick); his son, Cary Arthur Rhodes (Melonie); and six grandchildren, Scott Jackson (Katie), Kaitlyn Jackson, Nicholas Rhodes, Teigen Rhodes, Hylan Jackson and Hunter Rhodes.

Mr. Rhodes was a member of Calera Baptist Church and the Holiday Rambler Club. He enjoyed cattle farming, camping, vintage Volkswagons and motorcycling.

Visitation for Mr. Rhodes was March 29 from 1–2:30 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. Services were officiated by Dr. Hal Warren.
