Tillman Edward Davis

Montevallo

Tillman Edward Davis of Montevallo, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Alsie (Howard) Davis; his sister, Inez (Davis) McLellan, and his brother-in-law, Roy McLellan.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Marie (Harrell) Davis; daughters, Rhonda Davis, Rene Davis Day (Jim); sisters, Lou Jean Joiner (Malcolm), Rena Davis and Tommy Davis (Patricia); and two grandchildren, Abigail Rene Day and Mary Afton Day.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Montevallo First Baptist Church. The visitation was March 30 from 1-2 p.m. with his funeral service at 2 p.m. in Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Shelby Memorial Gardens in Calera. Services were officiated by Dr. Terry Sutton and Mr. Bart Kingsley.
