Looking to find a good deal while benefiting a local athletic team? You may want to mark Saturday, April 5, on your calendar.

The Thompson High School Track Team will be giving locals a chance to save some dough while supporting the team from 8 a.m.-noon on April 5 during a sale in the THS cafeteria.

All items at the sale will be $1, regardless of the item.

Event organizer Jamia Alexander Williams said the sale typically features merchandise such as clothing, shoes, toys, books, stuffed animals and dishes. All items will be donated by the community, Williams said.

Donations can be dropped off at THS beginning at 6 p.m. on April 4, Williams said.
