Katie T. Cook, age 74, of Pelham, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on April 6 at Valleydale Church with David Sanford officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens in Columbiana. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4 p.m. prior to the service at Valleydale Church.   Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana directing.

Mrs. Cook  is preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Cook; parents, James Leroy and Jewel Blackerby Taylor; sister, Mary Lou Taylor Koen (Jerry Koen); and niece, Susan Henry Harden.  She is survived by her children, John Michael Goodwin, Moni June Cook (Lisa S. Hackney) and Butch Cook; grandchildren, Zakary Aaron Cook, Andrew William Cook, Ana Lise Cook and Avery Leigh Cook; siblings, Nacy Henry (Torbit) and Johnny Taylor (Susan); and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
