PELHAM—Ten thousand Easter eggs will cover the Pelham Youth Football Field on April 19 for the city’s annual Easter egg hunt.

“We’re putting out 10,000 eggs,” organizer and Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Robert Finnerty said. “It’s a great deal.”

Starting at 9 a.m. children will be able to collect the eggs filled with toys and treats. But Finnerty suggests families arrive early.

“We start exactly at 9,” Finnerty said. “We always have a great turnout, so eggs go pretty quick.”

The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance at the Pelham Youth Football Field. Kids will have an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny after the hunt.

The Easter egg hunt is free and open to all children ages one to 12. More information can be found on Pelhamonline.com.
