Sonny (Clarence) Barnett Jr., of Calera, passed away on April 21, 2014, at the age of 75. He served in the US Air Force from 1958-1962, Airman 2nd Class, Strategic Air Command. Sonny was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.H. Barnett Sr. and Aileen Barnett; and sisters, Sue Barnett, Jean Smith and Ann Winterbottom. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Oline Barnett; son, Mike Barnett; daughter, Sandy Roberson (Steve); grandchildren, Jason Roberson (Crystal) and Jamie Benson (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Jagger, Amelia and Aliyah; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held April 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo. The funeral service will be held on April 23 at 1 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Calera, followed by burial at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Jemison. Bro. Joe Raines and Bro.
