Louise Jones Maske

Louise Jones Maske, at the age of 90, went to be with her Lord and savior on April 22, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on April 28 at The Chapel at Union Church with Rev. William Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-1 p.m. on April 28 at the church. Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, directing.

Her husband, Wade Maske, preceded her in death in 1972. She is survived by her son, Don L. Maske (Charlotte); daughter, Patsy Maske Wood; and a sister, Margaret Jones Walker. She is also survived by two living grandchildren, Dewayne Wood and Wendy Garcia (one grandson, Heath Wade Wood, went to be with the Lord in December of 2013); six great-grandchildren, Delanna Wood, Whitney Maske, Autumn, Patrisia, Stefania and David Jr. Garcia; a host of nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.

She was an active member of the community. She checked on friends and neighbors acquiring about their needs always. After her late husband’s death, she kept the cattle farm active for multiple years. She always supported her church and St. Jude’s Hospital, Billy Graham and Samaritan’s Purse. She supported an adoptive child overseas through a Children’s Ministry. She always had a giving heart for all the needs of children.
