Wilma C. Albright, age 90, of Vincent, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 15 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Matthews, Mr. Guy Posey and Rev. Bob Durham officiating. Burial is to follow in Harpersville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on May 14 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mrs. Albright was a member of the Birmingham Chapter of Rosie the Riveter Association. She was an aviation electrician on B-29 Superfortress aircraft from 1944-1945. She was director of Vincent area Positive Maturity Program in the 1980’s. She was a beloved senior member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she taught the Senior Adult Sunday School class for many years.

Mrs. Albright is preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Albright; and a brother, O.C. Dyer. She is survived by her children, Gary Albright (Janet), Royce Albright (Donna), Connie Strickland (Jim); grandchildren, Chris Albright (Kristen), Patrick Albright, Jeff Albright (Stacey), Amy Tritz (Shawn), Tim Strickland (April) and Kelly Bridges (Jon); nine great-grandchildren; brother, Theron Dyer (Bessie); sister-in-law, Virginia Dyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
