The CSX railroad company will close two crossings for repairs in Alabaster on separate days over the next week, city officials announced on May 16.

CSX is preparing to close the railroad crossing on Shelby County 87, which is off U.S. 31 near the Airpark Industrial Park in southern Alabaster, from 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 19 until late afternoon on Tuesday, May 20.

The railroad company will then close the railroad crossing on First Avenue West from 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21 until late afternoon on Thursday, May 22.
