Cheryle Hayes, a native of Mobile and resident of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Cheryle was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Dickerson; and siblings, Gail Newell, Johnny Dickerson and Debra Dickerson.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard Hayes; son, Tommy Hayes (April); grandson, Peyton; and siblings, June Kollins, Bill Dickerson (Dorothy), Carole Gaines, Frank Dickerson (Linda), Kay Brock (Mike), Michelle Bean, Sheila Seeber (Bruce), Stephanie Thornton and Viva Jackson (Tim).

Cheryle was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Birmingham. She was an accomplished artist and a member of the Hoover/Shelby County Art Association.

Private funeral services will be held June 11 at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. Condolences may be offered at Mmgfuneralhome.com.
