FROM STAFF REPORTS

COLUMBIANA—Last December, the Dream Makers Dance travel team from Columbiana received an invitation to perform their 10th show on the stage of the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. during June.

Eighty-five family and friends made the trip on June 7 to watch the dancers and cast members perform one of the greatest family shows on the mountain.

The Dream Makers show was a mixture of contemporary, country, clogging and jazz and included dancers from Shelby, Wilsonville, Elvin Hill, Columbiana Middle and Shelby County High School.

The dancers participated in a dance workshop, led by the show’s choreographers who are also dancers in the show.

After the performance, the producer of the show, Kevin Wilson, asked the group back again for another performance.

Afterwards, the dancers celebrated dancing in the highly rated show with an ice-cream party. It was a time for celebration.
