Lyndal R. Cost Sr., age 72, of Calera, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 18 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Johnson officiating. Burial is to follow in Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on June 18 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. Mr. Cost was employed at ABC Rail and ABEX Railroad Wheel Division for 41 years and Calera Industrial for five years.

Mr. Cost is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Walker; father, Venard Cost; and mother, Naomi Posey Cost. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Cost; children, Lyndal Richmond Cost Jr., Larry Robert Cost and Beverly Kay Klein; grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Lea, Robert, Matthew, Reese and Riley; great-grandchildren, Annika, Haley, Cheyanne, Jonathan, Nathan and Christian; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
