Waymon Douglas Rasco Sr., age 86, of Columbiana, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 24 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana, with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial is to follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on June 24 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana.

Mr. Rasco is preceded in death by his parents, Guzma and Eunice Davis Rasco; wife, Doris McDonald Rasco; brothers, Welby and Wayne Rasco; and sister, Venida Smith.

He is survived by his children, Waymon Rasco Jr. (Donna), Sharon Shugrue (Pat), Sheila Finley (Lane) and Ceal Elbert; brother, William Rasco (Ann); sisters-in-law, Jean Rasco and Darlene Rasco; grandchildren, Tray Rasco (Melissa), J. D. Shugrue (Leah), Keyla Handley (K C), Hope Finley, Chuck Ebert (Amanda) and Christy Helton (James); great-grandchildren, Connor Rasco, Cailey, Dylan, and Zachary Ebert and James and Matthew Helton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
