Linda N. Gothard

Linda N. Gothard, “the Cake Lady,” age 64, of Columbiana, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was an active member of Summerhill Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Johnny Gothard; daughters, Sherry Sports and Tammy Dodd; sister, Debra Smith; brother, Billy Ray Smith (Helen); grandchildren, Heather, Kayla, Trey and Lindsey Sports; Timothy Dodd, and Aaron Brasher; and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Braxton Sports.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home on July 11. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Summerhill Baptist on July 12 with interment in the adjacent cemetery. Brothers Neal and Cody Bearden are officiating. Charter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
