It was not the start the Kingwood Christian Lions hoped for, as the squad travelled to Auburn to take on Lee-Scott Academy in their season opener.
While Kingwood took an early 8-0 lead, even holding the lead heading into halftime, it was not enough, as the squad fell 14-8.
