Sonia Ann Sample, age 61, of Shelby, passed away Sunday. Sonia was predeceased by her father, Ray Bailey.
Her survivors include her daughter, Chelsea Williams; mother, Barbara Bailey; sister, Pam Britnell (Tim); brother, David Bailey (Renee); grandchildren, Caleb and Jacob Williams; nephew, Devan Bailey (Olivia); nieces, Rebekah Bailey, Shannon Sanders (Shane) and McKensie Britnell (Jamy);  nephew, Chad Brantley (Danielle); and great nieces, Marlie Bailey and Harper and Kendall Sanders.
A visitation was held Sept. 5 from noon-2 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home with a funeral service following at the funeral home. Charter Funeral Home directed.
