Tenth, 11th and 12th grade students are invited to submit their original artwork for the third annual Statewide High School Juried Art Exhibit. This year’s contest is co-sponsored by the University of Montevallo.  Categories for entry include: Painting, 3D work, mixed media, photography and drawing. One “Best of Show” winner will be chosen, along with “Best of” from each category.  There is no entry fee for this exhibit.  Students may submit digitally two photos of their work to submissions@shelbycountyartscouncil.com .
College Preview day with the representatives from schools across the state will be Nov. 9, 2014. This will be a wonderful, one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to mingle with Art Professors from colleges and universities from all around the state, all in one day!
