Hewitt-Trussville outlasts Spain Park in overtime

Four quarters of football weren’t enough for Spain Park and Hewitt-Trussville on Sept. 19, as the two teams battled through four overtime periods to finally decide a winner.

When the dust settled, it was Hewitt-Trussville that came away the victor, squeaking out a 64-63 win.

Mason Duke finished the night going 14-of-22 passing for 205 yards and two touchdowns, while the Jags were paced on offense by the rushing attack of Wade Streeter. Streeter registered 169 yards on 39 carries for five touchdowns.
