Gladys Lucille Neale

Gladys Lucille Neale, age 86, of Chelsea, Ala. went to be with Jesus Sunday, Oct. 12 surrounded by her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlus and Lizzie Spraggs; brothers, Leon Spraggs and Walter C. Spraggs and sister, Sue Wilburn.  Her survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Sue Lang (Jerry), Linda Fay Allison and Karon Marie Grooms (Dan); sons, William LaFayette Brown (Erin), Rickey Joe Brown and Robert Anthony Brown (Tammy); sisters, Wanda Joyce Jackson and Juda Fay Dean (Horace); brother, David LaFayette Spraggs (Patricia); 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at Charter Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a graveside service following at 1:15 p.m. in the Alabama National Cemetery.  Charter Funeral Home is directing.
