Jackets struggle against Tornados

By DREW GRANTHUM/For the Reporter

The Vincent Yellow Jackets took to the road on Oct. 17 to face Pickens County, and it’s safe to say the squad might’ve been traveling a little lighter.

That being because the team had the weight of making the playoffs lifted from their shoulders on Oct. 10, as a win over Francis Marion secured a spot in the postseason for the Jackets.

Unfortunately, the road trip didn’t prove as successful, as the Jackets fell to the Tornados, 26-7.
